Valerie Perrine

Perrine was born in Galveston, Texas , the daughter of Winifred "Renee" ( née McGinley), a dancer who appeared in Earl Carroll's Vanities , and Kenneth Perrine, a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army . Her mother was Scottish (of Irish descent), from Helensburgh in Dunbartonshire . Owing to her father's career, Perrine lived in many locations as the family moved to different posts.

Mobsters, bank robbers, whistleblowers—these were the heroes of 70s films. The final collapse of the studio system in the late 60s resulted in a decade of artistic (though admittedly bourgeoisie) auteur-driven films, before the 80s ushered in the age of the blockbuster, a precursor to today's franchise-driven cinema industry. , the ultimate source for everything movies, is your destination for new movie trailers, reviews, photos, times, tickets + more!
